During the process of buying or selling a home, communication is extremely important. And she communicates well with Escrow, Buyer/Seller and their agent, as well as her client. In this last sale, I was buying a new home at the same time as selling my current home. It was a frustrating experience because my agent on the other side (purchase) did not communicate well, leaving me frustrated and just a tad angry. Daina intervened, even though she was not on the commission side of that transaction. If I were still an active Broker, I would hire Daina in a red hot moment, and I'm not easily impressed.

- Our son Sam lives in CA, and we live in Michigan. Therefore, the search to find a condo within our budget, geographic area, and satisfying the needs and desires of our son who would be living in it while communicating with us across the country was a major undertaking. We had been looking for over a year and had worked with two other realtors unsuccessfully. 

Daina soon got a handle on what Sam was looking for, what features were musts, and where there was some flexibility. With the number of hours Sam was working, his time was limited for going to see properties. Daina recognized this, and for weeks on end, would take the time to preview the properties, and only take Sam to those that she knew were possibilities based on his criteria. This was greatly appreciated. She was also outstanding at staying on top of things, communicating with both Sam and my husband and I. 

We made another offer or two, but neither worked out. We were all feeling frustrated at the time being spent, offers that didn’t materialize, and properties that just weren’t to our liking. Through it all, Daina kept telling us that the ones we lost out on were just not “meant to be” and it meant that we hadn’t found the right one yet. Frankly, we weren’t feeling too positive about the prospect of finding a condo at all, but Daina kept at it and didn’t give up. To her credit, she never tried to talk Sam into a condo that she knew he really didn’t love, or one that he would be over-compromising on his criteria. We had the utmost trust in Daina and always felt she was in our corner, trying to find us a condo that we would be happy with, not just trying to make a sale. 

Daina continued to search and in late January previewed 2 properties, both which she knew Sam would like. She was absolutely right. Sam liked the first one she showed him, but when he walked into the second one, he said “This is it!” (just as Daina thought he would). 

Daina did so much beyond the call of duty, I don’t know where to begin. She knew Sam had no experience with the process, and with us not there, she took it upon herself to stand by Sam through inspection, getting bids on repairs, and the painstaking process of volumes of paperwork, escrow, etc. She always promptly answered our questions, calls, and e-mails. She was knowledgeable, and took the time to explain things to us as questions arose. She was straightforward yet kind and understanding. She helped us through every bump and turn in the road right through closing. 

We consider ourselves fortunate to have had such an accommodating and knowledgeable realtor assisting us. Daina was spectacular in every way and on every front. We would recommend her highly to anyone who wants to purchase or sell their home. We truly appreciated Daina’s expertise, all her time and effort, and all she did for us.
